Moët et Chandon

Moët and Chandon: Number one champagne in sales

One phrase is enough to sum up the Moët & Chandon's house: its Brut Impérial is the best-selling champagne in the world. With that said, here are other figures that could help you get an idea of the exceptional quality of this Champagne producer founded in 1743. 27 kilometers of cellars, a number of bottles in reserve exceeding 100 million, a vineyard of nearly 1200 hectares ... Are just some of the features that describe the Moët & Chandon house, which is located in Epernay. Synonymous of luxury, they belong to the LVMH group, the first world group dedicated to the production of luxury wines.
The Moët & Chandon are exceptional. We mentioned before the Imperial Brut, which is the unique blend of more than 200 crus, but with the essential grape varieties of Champagne: pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay. Its bubbles are of incomparable finesse, while its flavors are mostly to flowers and pear. This house is also the producer of the Grand Vintage cuvee, which has a very beautiful maturity. The 2009 vintage was exceptional in this area. Its bubbles are fine as well, but its flavors are more diverse. On the nose, we will discover scents of vanilla or almonds. We can also detect peach and apricot aromas. Whatever its aroma, these champagnes remain available at prices as low as a few tens of euros.
